The pilots try to limit the motion you will feel on the plane. They do their very best to keep the turns shallow and the motion to a minimum so that you can focus on the beautiful scenery and not have to worry. However, there are windy days here, and that does create turbulence in the air. The pilots try to avoid the more turbulent areas and to minimize turning as much as possible. You will not feel as much motion in a plane as you will on a boat — it’s more like a bus — but on a windy day, it is like a bus on a winding road. If you are motion-sensitive in a car, this is similar.

If you are sensitive to motion in the car, then yes, take Dramamine or Bonine or whatever you would normally take on a boat tour. There are ginger candies for everyone, and they do help settle the stomach a little bit.

Unfortunately, there are rainy days on Kauai. The Operator will try hard to work with you and reschedule if possible, especially if it looks like the weather will be improving during your stay. So they do suggest booking in the early part of your stay so there will be another day to reschedule if needed.

This is the ultimate air tour of Kauai, taking you on a 65-minute scenic flight over the Garden Isle's most incredible views. Ask questions, share stories, and have an unparalleled emotionally charged and visually rewarding experience of what many describe as one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Starting in Lihue, you first see Kipu Kai, the beach made famous by Harrison Ford’s film 6 Days, 7 Nights. Then, for more movie scene locations, travel on to see the famous Jurassic Park waterfall in the beautiful Hanapepe Valley (weather permitting).

Next, you'll soar over the vast Waimea Canyon, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” as well as the famous Na Pali Coastline. The emerald cliffs with razor-sharp ridges that cascade into the ocean below are one of the most unique and breathtaking sights in Hawaii.

Finish off with the lovely Hanalei Bay before heading back to the Lihue Airport. The additional time also allows your pilot to show you the numerous waterfalls of the Hanalei Valley as well as the crater below Kauai’s Mt. Waiale’ale.

In the winter months, whale watching may be feasible. The tours can also feature customizable routes, with an expert agricultural narrative and a complimentary Kauaian gift.

Join a public tour onboard the AirVan, a roomy plane with huge bubble windows which give you an unobstructed wrap-around view as well as a downward view. Plus, there are only window seats, so no one misses out on the amazing views. In addition, the state-of-the-art headsets allow everyone to communicate with the pilot and with each other plus listen to the hand-picked music provided by your pilot.

Alternatively, opt for a more intimate experience with a private tour in the smaller Cessna. It's an awesome way for couples to enjoy the beauty of Kauai. This small plane can comfortably carry two people – one in the front co-pilot seat and the other behind. The views are stellar, and you don’t miss a thing from the wide windows. The privacy allows for individual communication with your pilot and with each other, or you can just relax into the peacefulness of an extraordinary experience.

All bookings require a minimum of 2 passengers.
