What to Expect

Take a different approach to nightlife on the Gold Coast with this immersive, nature-based tour to the hinterland and Tamborine National Park.

You'll get picked up from selected locations around Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, and Main Beach before being whisked off inland. The first stop for the night is for a sweet treat. Enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate at a local restaurant, accompanied by a delicious dessert.

Then, stretch your legs with a fully guided rainforest walk. With the knowledge of your guide, discover the lush forests of Tamborine National Park and spot native nocturnal wildlife. Everyone has a low-watt flashlight to light the walkway. At the end of the trail emerges Curtis Falls, a subtropical waterfall and habitat to the stars of the show – the ever-fascinating glowworms.

While the twinkling lights of these gnat larvae are mesmerising and beautiful, they have a sinister use. The larvae use sticky webs and their bioluminescent glow to lure and catch prey, such as small slugs and snails.

You'll also have the chance to see even more sparkling lights with a stop at a lookout for views of the Gold Coast skyline, plus enjoy some time for star-gazing, spotting constellations like the Southern Cross.

Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket, hat, water bottle. The rainforest walks require a low to moderate degree of fitness and follow clearly marked paths and boardwalks. Enclosed shoes are recommended.

All the vehicles carry umbrellas, insect repellents and first aid kits. Plus, on this tour, you'll be provided with a low watt flashlight.

The Operator has a fleet of 16 seat Mercedes Benz vehicles. They are comfortable and spacious with reclining seats and it is comfortable to stand inside the vehicle when taking your seat.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour departure will attract a 100% cancellation fee (includes no shows)
Cancellations received within 48 hours of departure will attract a 50% cancellation fee
The cancellation fee is the total value of the tour/s

Dependant on tour a minimum of people is required to run any of our tours. We will notify you if the minimum numbers have not been met and a full refund will be given along with alternative dates or tours should you wish to move dates.
