People of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy this day tour together. This tour does not involve any demanding walking. Ubirr is a multi-level rock formation that hosts art sites on each level. You can select whether to walk through the ground-level galleries or continue on with the more challenging walk up to the top. Your guide can advise you on the day.

The tour will have regular access to toilet facilities throughout the day on the single-day tours.

The Operator does not have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. If you or someone in your group is in a wheelchair, please let them know, and they can try to get access to a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. This professionally guided tour will lead you all through Kakadu National Park, one of Australia&#39;s largest protected areas. The park is known for its ancient rock paintings, some of which are up to 20,000 years old, spectacular landscapes and rock formations.&nbsp;If you want to hear the stories behind the ancient&nbsp;Aboriginal art in the Northern Territory, this is the tour for you.

&nbsp;

Your tour will depart at approximately 5:30am&nbsp;with pickup from your Darwin accommodation.&nbsp;From there, hop into a comfy vehicle and begin your drive to Kakadu National Park, with&nbsp;stops, iced water and snacks provided along the way.

 
Upon arriving at Kakadu at about 10am, your guide will take you on an interpretive, guided tour of the multi-level art shelters of Ubirr Rock. Hear the stories of these ancient artworks and see the stunning expansive views as you travel through the sites.

After enjoying a break and buffet-style picnic lunch, you will head to&nbsp;the East Alligator River. Here, you will join an afternoon cruise alongside your local Bininj Guide. Enjoy&nbsp;a relaxing but interactive way to hear more about the area&#39;s history and culture.

&nbsp;

Travel along the river until you reach Cahills Crossing. Generally abundant with crocodiles, the boat will turn here and you will make your way over to the Arnhem Land riverbanks. Your Bininj Guide will invite you onto the shore, and there is the chance to step across the land here, to the open area, where you will be shown a cultural demonstration. After this demonstration, you will return to the boat, as you are guided back to the boat ramp.

 
A refreshing snack will be waiting for you as you disembark and return to the vehicle. Mid-afternoon you&#39;ll begin the journey back up the road towards Darwin. Halfway back there is another comfort stop where snacks are served and you get a chance to stretch your legs. More comfort stops are available, so be sure to mention to your Guide if they are required!

You will return back your Darwin accommodation&nbsp;by early evening.
