All introductory scuba participants must meet medical questionnaire requirements and some conditions or medications may prevent you from diving.&nbsp;

Currently, the rules state that for a single no decompression dive, you should not fly/go to altitude for at least 12 hours, or 18 hours after multiple dives. The Supplier recommends waiting a minimum 24 hours whenever possible. These are guidelines only, there is no guarantee that these recommendations will prevent decompression sickness. There are no current guidelines regarding diving after flying.

Altitude is defined as 300m/1000ft above sea level. This includes going to the Atherton Tablelands (a popular local scenic attraction), so be careful if booking tours to follow your dive trip. Under normal circumstances, you should be out of the water on your last dive at 12pm (midday).

There&rsquo;s nowhere better than the Great Barrier Reef to learn to dive! If you want to complete your PADI&nbsp;open water diver training in just four days, but also include an overnight experience, this dive course is designed for you!

Spend your first two days at a purpose-built, five-star dive training centre in Cairns, then develop your dive skills on a once-in-a-lifetime overnight experience adventure on board the famous&nbsp;OceanQuest.

&nbsp;

World class instructors will make sure you&rsquo;re thoroughly trained in theory and in the pool before you set out for the reef, where you&#39;ll experience&nbsp;sites at Saxon, Norman and Hastings reefs.&nbsp;Here, you&#39;ll get to discover all the colourful treasures at these dive locations as you gain valuable dive experience.

Spending the night at the Great Barrier Reef and waking to sunrise on the water, knowing you&rsquo;re about to become a PADI certified diver is a thrill like no other! After you&rsquo;ve completed all your training dives you&rsquo;ll also have the chance to take your first &lsquo;fun dive&rsquo; before returning to Cairns.

	When enrolling in an entry-level recreational diving certificate you must complete the&nbsp;self-assessed medical declaration forms before starting your training supplied by The Operator.&nbsp;The forms are similar and both are a Queensland code of practice requirement.

	During time on board the vessel, customers will be close proximity with other guests and crew. Should any customer conduct themselves in an abusive, inappropriate or threatening manner or in any other way so as to make themselves objectionable to fellow guests or our crew, The Supplier&nbsp;reserves the right to have them leave the vessel at the earliest opportunity. The Master of the Vessel has the absolute discretion to make any decisions in this regard and the decision of the Master of the Vessel will be final. The Supplier will not give any refund of tour costs if a customer is unable to complete the tour because they have been removed at the Master&rsquo;s decision
