No experience is required for the beginner abseiling adventure. Your guide will show you the ropes, and you&#39;ll start with smaller descents to build your confidence until you&#39;re ready to tackle great heights.&nbsp;

Beginner Abseiling

&nbsp;

If you are unsure about your abilities and would rather take your time to learn how to abseil, then this tour to the Narrow Neck Plateau is the one for you.

&nbsp;

In the Dreamtime legend of the Gundungurra people of the Blue Mountains, much of the incredible landscape was created by an epic conflict between two giant mythical creatures, Gurangatch and Mirragan. As they chased and fought each other, they gouged out the deep valleys and pushed up the rocky peaks. And today, the landscape is left with the likes of Narrow Neck &ndash; a ribbon-like ridge of towering sandstone that separates the mighty Jamison and Megalong valleys.

&nbsp;

On the Megalong Valley side of Narrow Neck is a site with magical views and a range of cliffs that are perfect for your first abseiling adventure. With&nbsp;your expert guide at your side the entire time, they will slowly coach you to take those first steps over the edge.

&nbsp;

There are some gentle five-metre cliffs to get you started before upping&nbsp;the adrenaline factor on 15-metre&nbsp;and 30-metre abseils. The beauty of single-pitch abseiling is that it&#39;s not as fast-paced as the multi-pitch options, which gives you more time to adjust to the heights and improve your technique.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

It&#39;s just a short walk from the bottom of each abseil back to the top, so you can repeat the smaller abseils until you feel ready to tackle the bigger ones. This also makes it ideal for families with children who have never abseiled before.&nbsp;

Intermediate Abseiling

&nbsp;

If you&#39;re a little more experienced with abseiling, then traverse, climb and descend in this multi-pitch experience at Boars Head in the Blue Mountains.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

This tour is a half-day activity that consists of three abseils from up to 25 metres, over 200m of cliff traversing, and short rock climbs.

&nbsp;

The circuit takes you halfway down the escarpment overlooking the spectacular Megalong Valley. The views will leave you speechless as you traverse and descend through the &quot;Crack&quot; &ndash; a hair-raising&nbsp;moment as there is nothing but air below your feet!

You MUST contact us prior to your tour if you have any medical conditions, including pregnancy, or are unsure if you or your party meet the fitness requirements for your tour. All medical conditions must be declared on your Medical History Form (Link Below).

Rebooking or refunding tour costs will not be allowed if:

	<li>You choose to not participate.</li>
	<li>You are removed from your tour.</li>
	<li>You are physically unable to participate or complete your tour.</li>
	<li>Any medical condition, illness, injury or lack of fitness prevents you from participating in or completing your tour.</li>
</ul>

REBOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION POLICY 

If you do not agree with this policy please contact us immediately to cancel your order and receive a full refund. If we do not receive a cancellation request from you within 2 hours after sending the initial order confirmation email this rebookings and cancellation policy will apply to this order without exception.

TOUR CANCELLATIONS 

Tours may be cancelled or postponed for operational reasons by ERA, including but not limited to poor weather , insufficient numbers, or track/road closures. If we have to cancel the tour, we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible before the date of the tour by phone, email or SMS and offer you another suitable date. There will be no rebooking fee in this circumstance.

Refunds are not given if we have to cancel your tour and reschedule you to another date in the circumstances described above.

If you are booking accommodation that is not refundable, please contact us prior to gauge the likelihood of a weather cancellation.

CANCELLATION/ DATE CHANGE REQUESTS 

What happens if I want to cancel or change my tour? Someone else can take your position on the tour. There is no additional fee. We strongly recommend that you obtain suitable insurance coverage to protect you against cancellations caused by medical emergencies, flight delays, the circumstances described above, etc.

CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL 

We reserve the right to cancel any tour for any reason, to alter our tours (including but not limited to starting times, pricing, inclusions or itinerary) at any time for any reason without notice, and deny access to tours for any participant for any reason).

All safety instructions given by our staff must be adhered to or you will be removed from the tour for the safety of yourself and others.

REMOVAL FROM TOURS 

A customer may be removed from any tour for any reason by us. We reserve the right to deny access to tours for anyone who in our opinion is drunk, disorderly, a hazard to themselves or others, abusive, not physically able, mentally incapable, or objectionable in any other way. We will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred as a result of your removal or non- participation.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

We will not be liable for any additional expenses relating to your tour, including but not limited to: cancellations, missing connecting transport, extra accommodation, food expenses or lost, stolen or broken property. All additional expenses incurred remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

MINORS

Participants under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form (Link Below) completed by their parent or guardian. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, unless prior arrangements have been made with management
