Hop On Hop Off is a unique tour format where you and your group travel independently from the other groups on the bus.

&nbsp;

Essentially the bus follows a recurring timetable circuit comprising of 10-17 venues that it visits every hour. You are free to hop on or off at any of the stops, knowing from the timetable when the driver will be back to collect you and take you to your next stop.

No, the buses are not licensed to drink alcohol onboard, and these tours are not about drinking as much as possible. They&#39;re about offering a fun and unique way to taste wine and visit special wineries! The crew take alcohol safety very seriously and have a strict passenger code of conduct based on a legal duty of care to all passengers, which all passengers must read and sign before starting their tour.

If any guest breaches the code by becoming intoxicated or acting disrespectfully or unlawfully, their tour will be stopped, and they may be removed from the vehicle.

The Operator uses Toyota Coasters &ndash; a comfortable 21 seat bus equipped with air-conditioning and tinted windows.

The buses follow a strict timetable for a circuit. You can view and download the Info-Packs for your tour&nbsp;<a href="https://trailhopper.com.au/how-it-works/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>, plus your booking will include a link to download it with your ticket confirmation email. There are also printed copies available on the bus.

Yes, children are welcome onboard, however, please take note of the following:

<ol>
	<li>Baby Seats / Boosters &ndash; Unfortunately there is no way for guests to bring or install car seats, as there are literally no anchor points. Legally the 20-seat buses are defined as &#39;omnibuses&#39;, which are any &#39;real&#39; buses defined as above 13 seats. As such, like a public transport passenger bus or tram, children under 5 would have to ride on their parents at their own risk, and The Operator is not legally liable for any child passenger under 16 years old.</li>
	<li>Prams, Strollers &amp; Luggage &ndash; Unfortunately, there is no storage space for large items such as prams. Also, due to health and safety regulations, the aisles are officially designated as &#39;Emergency Exits&#39;, so unless it is an umbrella pram or item that can fold up and be stored under the guests&#39; own seat, then the Operator&nbsp;cannot accept prams onboard.</li>
	<li>Regarding child fares, children aged five or older are charged at the full seat rate. However, children under five that can ride on their parent&#39;s laps may travel free of charge.&#39;</li>

Just 30 minutes&nbsp;up the freeway, Hahndorf and its&nbsp;surroundings feel&nbsp;a world away from the hustle and bustle of Adelaide city. Make your way along this unique trail&nbsp;featuring the very best of the region and be captivated by the&nbsp;rich natural beauty, history, and of course, some of the best food and wine in the country.

The comfortable bus picks you up from the meeting location&nbsp;in the morning, then once in the Adelaide Hills, it follows a recurring timetable circuit that takes 50-60 minutes to complete. The bus stops at all selected venues, following the same timetable every hour until it&#39;s time to return to the city in the late afternoon (approx 5:00 pm).

&nbsp;

Along the way, you are free to hop on or off at any of the established stops. In a full-day tour, you are likely to see up to 4 wineries of your choosing, at your own pace and independently from the other groups on the bus. This gives you the freedom to tour your way.

Covid-19 has changed how most wineries operate, which now means many of them have seating and capacity restrictions, so for most wineries bookings are now essential for all visitors including TrailHopper guests.

<h4>Itinerary &amp; Timeliness</h4>

As we follow such a tight timetable, it is imperative that passengers are ready and waiting for the bus prior to the stated departure time, just like you would when catching a public metro bus. We recommend being at the pick-up location 5 minutes before the stated departure time.

Trail Hopper Pty Ltd will make all efforts to adhere to the stated timetable, however Trail Hopper Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend prices or itinerary,&nbsp;(i.e.&nbsp;alter travel routes or itinerary) due to road, weather or&nbsp;traffic conditions; or if required&nbsp;by&nbsp;the size, behaviour or other condition of the group(s). Please allow additional travel time during peak periods and events.

Please be aware that while we would like to cater for your every need,&nbsp;we can only let visitors embark&nbsp;and disembark&nbsp;at the pre-determined stops along the circuit.

Standard CBD departure is from the Stamford Plaza Hotel (150 North Terrace). Collection from within each region is at the Visitor Information Centre &ndash; bookings essential.

Our preference is that all bookings are made and paid for via our website before travel.

<h4>Cancellation Policy</h4>

	<li>Minimum bookings are required to operate. Trail Hopper Pty Ltd reserves the right to change, cancel or re-allocate&nbsp;tickets to subsequent tours. Maximum possible notice will be given in this instance however it may be less than 24 hours.</li>

<h4>Hens and Bucks Tours</h4>

Regrettably, Trail Hopper Pty Ltd does not accept bookings for Hens and Bucks tours. This is in line with the policies of most wineries.

<h4>Befouling / Cleaning / Damages</h4>

A befouling fee of $100 will apply to passengers who are physically ill onboard.

Passengers are requested to remove any rubbish from the bus or place in bin supplied at the door.

A cleaning fee will apply if passengers spill drinks / food&nbsp;or leave rubbish behind for the driver to clean up. Please respect the condition of the bus for the next passengers.

Passengers are reminded that any unacceptable behaviour, i.e. &nbsp;verbal&nbsp;abuse or bodily harm, will be treated strictly in accordance of the law; damage fees will apply.

The driver reserves the right to terminate a tour, if any actions are deemed threatening or dangerous to the driver or other passengers. The driver is authorised to have an unruly passenger&nbsp;who is threatening or placing the driver or passengers in a dangerous situation removed. The matter may&nbsp;be reported to the Police or relevant authority if deemed necessary by the driver or&nbsp;management.

The befouling fee is generally $100, but may increase if the vehicle is likely to be out of commission for a considerable time. Similarly Trail Hopper Pty Ltd may contact you to recover any cost for commercial cleaning or repairs where damage to a vehicle is&nbsp;caused by you or one of your guests.

<h4>Smoking</h4>

No smoking is permitted on any of our buses. It is against the law in South Australia to smoke in Public Transport Vehicles.

<h4>Tasting Fees</h4>

Some cellar doors may charge a tasting fee, usually waived&nbsp;upon purchase of wine. We will endeavour to communicate these to you in advance.

Mobility Options

Unfortunately we are unable to cater for immobility passengers.

<h4>Child Seats</h4>

All our 20 seat or larger buses are deemed as public transport vehicles and therefore child seats are not required.

<h4>Injury &amp; Lost Property</h4>

Trail Hopper Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings or luggage or for any injury or loss of any type whilst on tour (please read&nbsp;section &lsquo;Lost Property Procedure&rsquo; below for more information).

Trail Hopper Pty Ltd recommend that all passengers have personal travel insurance to cover loss or damage to property, illness, injury or not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure.

If you have lost items on the bus, please contact our operators immediately. In order for us to find your item we need accurate information &ndash; if possible please provide&nbsp;the following details:

Our timetables work beautifully, but they can be a bit tricky.&nbsp;Here&rsquo;s what you need to know:

	<li>Our system allows for&nbsp;a maximum potential for 4 x 1 hour stops, of your choice. If you have a long lunch at a winery (ie you take 2 hours), then you&rsquo;ll have 3 stops in total.</li>
	<li>Visit venues in the order of the timetable (ie top-down, not bottom-up) to maximise your number of stops.</li>
	<li>The last&nbsp;column of times are the final pick up times for those venues.</li>
