What to Expect
Frequently Asked Questions about Vivid Sydney 2024 Package: Dinner Cruise on Sydney Harbour
Will I get seasick and do you provide sea sickness tables?
The vessel is a catamaran vessel and is very stable. Sydney Harbour is, however, a dynamic environment and a working harbour so guests should expect to experience some movement. If you are easily prone to seasickness, it's recommended you try a herbal ginger tablet before boarding the cruise.
How do I get there?
Darling Harbour is within walking distance from Sydney’s city centre and is approximately a 10-minute walk from the shopping precinct on George Street. If travelling from further afield, there are several train stations close to the Darling Harbour area, including Wynyard and Town Hall. For further information on train travel in Sydney, please visit the Transport NSW website.
Where do I park?
There are several parking options close to the departure point. You can view a map of car park locations close by to help you plan ahead.
Where do we board?
The cruises depart from King Street Wharf No. 8, Darling Harbour. Located in front of the Cargo Bar on the Darling Harbour Promenade. The vessel will arrive at the wharf 15 minutes before the scheduled departure to commence boarding. The crew will disembark the arriving vessel to meet guests and welcome them on board. Please ensure you are at the departure point no later than 15 minutes prior to departure, as the boarding time is strictly enforced.
Can I take a pram on board the boat?
Yes, however, there is limited space available internally for storing the pram. Please advise the reservations staff when booking if you would like to bring a pram with you or speak with the friendly crew when boarding for your cruise.
Is the vessel wheelchair accessible?
Yes, wheelchair access is available on the main deck only with access to a wheelchair-accessible toilet as well.
Are there toilet facilities on board?
Yes, toilets are available on both levels of the vessel.
Does your menu cater for dietary requirements?
The thoughtfully created and regionally focused menu caters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free & lactose-free dietary requirements. It is essential that any other specific dietary requirements or allergies are advised at the time of booking.
