On this ultimate wine-lover's day out, get behind the scenes of some of the best local producers as you discover two local wineries, a premium distillery and a family-owned chocolatier. 

 

Packed into a day's worth of local wine and food discovery, join your expert local guide as they whisk you around to each hand-picked venue. Start with two amazing local wineries, where you will learn about all about their craft, get an insight into their production process, and visit their cellar doors to sample some of their finest cool climate wines. This will be followed by guided tours at an award-winning chocolate maker and an award-winning gin distillery. Here, you will get to taste some delicious handmade chocolates and expertly crafted spirits.

 

Indulge in a gourmet winery lunch, where the focus is on fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Pair this with a glass of one of their premium wines and you won't ever want to leave.

Eden Road Winery

This award-winning winery offers a large selection of cool climate wines of varietal purity, finesse and complexity.

 

Barton Estate Winery

Barton Estate is a family-owned producer of premium cool climate Canberra District wines from estate-grown fruit on their 20-acre property. 

 

McKellar Ridge Estate

McKellar Ridge Estate is a boutique winery and vineyard producing award-winning, handcrafted wines that exhibit the unique characteristics of the Canberra cool-climate region: fresh fruit flavours, distinctive spiciness, and crisp acidity. 

 

Mount Majura Vineyard

Mount Majura Vineyard lies near the top of the Majura Valley, producing wines exclusively from the single vineyard of not only great quality, but real character.

 

Lark Hill Winery

Lark Hill Winery, near Bungendore, is a certified Biodynamic, family-owned & run estate growing and producing Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gruner Veltliner.

 

Contentious Character 

Set in the undulating hills of Wamboin, Contentious Character is a cool-climate, single vineyard winery creating elegant, nuanced wines.

 

Norton Road Wines

Norton Road Wines is a family-owned venture specialising in growing and making small batch, hand-crafted, cool-climate wines.

 

Jasper+Myrtle Chocolates

Jasper + Myrtle takes carefully sourced cocoa beans and roasts them to perfection, blending with exquisite flavours to create delicious and distinctive bars, lovingly handmade in Canberra.

 

Big River Distilling Co.

Established in 2017, Big River Distilling Co. is sited near the confluence of the Molonglo River and Lake Burley Griffin. It creates a range of artisan gins and vodkas of uncompromising quality using ingredients from Australia and afar.

We reserve the right to change or cancel any bookings. If we cancel a tour we will endeavour to do one of the following: Re-book you for another date or tour (subject to availability), transfer your booking to another person, and as a last resort refund your payment.

If you have dietary requirements that are generally more common ie. lactose intolerant, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergic to nuts or shellfish etc, we will advise the restaurant and they will cater to your specific requirements.

If you have requirements that are a little more uncommon, please advise us in advance so we can liaise with the restaurant to confirm your requirements.

Terms & Conditions:

  • There is an 8 person minimum for this tour. You will be contacted the day before if this minimum is not met
  • The Operator reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary as necessary

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation between day of tour & 14 days prior - no refund
  • Cancellation between 15 & 30 days prior - 50% of the tour price will be refunded
  • Cancellation more than 30 days prior - 100% of the tour price (less non-refundable booking deposit) will be refunded
  • To change your booking within 24 hours of tour commencing - full tour fee will be charged
  • To change your booking between 24 hours & 30 days prior - $25 per person transfer fee will be charged
  • To change your booking more than 30 days prior - no transfer fee
