Itinerary
Experience South Australia’s beautiful Northern Barossa Valley on this all-inclusive wine tasting tour from Adelaide. We start our journey into the history of wine-making with a 9 am pick up from the city centre, before we head out into the lush countryside and embark on a voyage of discovery through this world-renowned wine region.
Our action packed itinerary includes visits to up to five different historic wineries, where we will learn more about the history and culture of this stunning region while visiting some of the world’s oldest vineyards. The Barossa Valley is often seen as Australia’s wine capital, and with beautiful surroundings, perfect weather and ideal conditions for growing grapes, it’s not hard to see why.
Famed for its Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro, Semillon and Chardonnay, the Barossa Valley is a truly unmissable highlight for all visitors to Southern Australia and Adelaide. This full-day wine tasting experience will also take us to the neighbouring Eden Valley, where the cooler climate is perfect for producing an amazing Riesling.
The world-famous wine regions of Barossa Valley and Eden Valley are home to well over 80 Cellar Doors, with passionate vignerons who will lead you on a palate-broadening, wine tasting experience. Taste wines of distinction and experience wine from one of the world’s oldest Shiraz vines, first planted in 1843, as we gain a unique insight into the fascinating history of wine production in Southern Australia.
A relaxed day trip from Adelaide through the stunning Barossa Valley, our tour pace is unhurried and enjoyable. Take your time enjoying a wide array of different wines and sampling grapes from all across the world, before we enjoy a delicious lunch at a fantastic local restaurant. After a full day of wine tasting and eating, we drop you back at your Adelaide accommodation at around 5:30 pm.
