No. As part of gaining permission to film in the spectacular locations the producers were required to dismantle all sets except for Hobbiton.&nbsp; We specialise in showing you where specific scenes were filmed.&nbsp; Many of the movie locations are recognisable on our trips and your guide will give you insights into the stories behind them.

Our Glenorchy trips include an easy 15 minute (return) nature walk to a LOTR scene over a formed trail.&nbsp; Clients have the option of staying in or near the vehicle if they wish at any of the stops on any of our tours.

Journey from Queenstown to Glenorchy on this sightseeing adventure! Stop at famous Lord of the Rings film locations and marvel at the spectacular natural scenery and stunning views.&nbsp; 
 
Your day starts in Queenstown with a pickup from the town centre or your accommodation. You&#39;ll follow the Dart River to the filming location of Isengard where you&#39;ll also be able to marvel at incredible views over Mount Earnslaw!&nbsp; 
 
Next, head to Paradise and enjoy some of the most beautiful views in New Zealand, before arriving at the film location for the Forrest of Lothlorien. 
Heading back to Queenstown you&#39;ll&nbsp;have the chance to stop at 12 Mile Delta to explore the location of the Ithilien Camp! 
 
Throughout your Middle Earth journey, there&#39;ll also be the chance to become a part of the action with dress ups and replica props to take photos with!&nbsp; 
 
The tour includes the Lord of the Rings filming locations&nbsp;of the Misty Mountains, Refugees of Rohan, Battle of the Wargs scenes, Isengard, Ithilien Camp, Lothlorien forest and The Battle of Amon Hen/Seat of Seeing. You&#39;ll also see some of the film locations from Xmen Origins: Wolverine, and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian! 
 
Tours start at 8:00 am and 1:30 pm and take approximately 4 hours and 25 minutes. &nbsp;
