The standard 1 hour and 2 hour ATV tour includes​:

We want you to be comfortable and being&nbsp;in the Tropics we know how hot it can get especially during Summer so all we ask is to wear&nbsp;closed shoes.

​During dry months some parts of our tracks can be dusty. We provide you with&nbsp;glasses&nbsp;but you are welcome to bring your own. We also have&nbsp;cool bandanas&nbsp;available for purchase but you can bring your own.

You can take a small bag, your camera and&nbsp;bottled water. If you have more gear, you can leave it in our locker.

We have bottled water, soft drink and juice available for purchase. You can also purchase other souvenirs like our bandanas and even cutting boards made from timber responsibly sourced from our secluded estate.

If you are travelling on Skyrail, you can meet us conveniently at&nbsp;Skyrail&#39;s Barron Falls Station.

​If you are travelling by car, you can find us at 1015 Kennedy Highway&nbsp;which is opposite Rainforestation&nbsp;or find our location on Google Maps.

​If you plan to take public transport (John&#39;s Kuranda Bus or TransNorth) you can ask the driver to drop you at our front gate opposite Rainforestation where our tour guide will meet you.

If none of these options works for you, we can also arrange a free pick-up&nbsp;from&nbsp;Kuranda Village (meeting point Information Centre). Please contact us before booking the ATV tour as seats are limited.

Unfortunately but for your safety we are&nbsp;not allowed&nbsp;to double on the ATVs. We understand that sometimes parents want to make sure their kids will be safe but we follow the manufacturer&#39;s instructions and insurance guidelines which tell us not to double on the ATVs.

We are experienced and have operated for 5 years with no records of accidents so trust our tour guides if they take your kids on our buggy.

Our ATV rainforest experience is&nbsp;suitable for beginners. The bikes are set up&nbsp;so all you have to use is your hands. You won&#39;t have to worry about your feet, they&#39;ll stay in one position during the whole tour.&nbsp;

​As the maximum speed is 15kph, our tour guide will lock the bikes in one gear. If you are experienced and our tour guide deems it necessary, he/she will let you change from first to second gear during the tour. Remember we are not racing, we are exploring a unique environment at a relaxed pace.

​Before the tour, we will also explain how to operate the bikes and give you some tips to make the&nbsp;journey safe and fun. We will go for a&nbsp;practice ride&nbsp;on an easy path where you will get to accelerate, turn and&nbsp;stop to get ready for the tour. Our tour guide will make sure everyone is ready before heading for the actual tour.

This doesn&#39;t happen very often but if you have done your best and still can&#39;t manage to ride the ATV safely, our tour guide will ask you if you still want to join the tour in our buggy. Our tour guide drives the buggy, you get to enjoy the tour and not worry about anything else.

We have an impeccable record and hope to keep it that way so we need all our visitors to follow the instructions given by our tour guides. If you fail to abide by our rules of no speeding, no fish-tails, no burnout, no standing while riding&nbsp;then&nbsp;you will be stopped from riding&nbsp;and&nbsp;no refund&nbsp;will be given.&nbsp;

Kids must be&nbsp;10 years old&nbsp;to be able to ride on their own. We have no maximum age, our oldest driver so far was 74 years old!

We know how exciting is for kids to be able to ride on their own but safety is also #1 for us so our&nbsp;tour guide will determine if your kid will be able to ride&nbsp;on his/her own. Even if they have&nbsp;previous experience on bikes, they will receive an induction and training session before the tour which will help the tour guide determine if they can ride safely.​

In case they cannot do it, they will join the tour in our buggy which is driven by the tour guide.

We would love to welcome all visitors but unless you have booked a tour there is not much else for them to do. We&nbsp;cannot allow&nbsp;people to walk freely on their own as being in a natural environment carries&nbsp;inherent risks.

The ATVs are easy to drive and are&nbsp;suitable for beginners &ndash; no experience is required. Before the tour commences, you&#39;ll get a run-down on how the vehicles work and go for a practice ride on an easy path, where you&#39;ll try out braking, accelerating, and turning.&nbsp;The maximum speed is 15kph, there are no gear changes required, and everything is operated with your hands, so you don&#39;t have to worry about coordinating your hands and feet.

Once your tour guide is happy everyone can safely ride an ATV, you&#39;ll head off. Old timber trails lead the way into the heart of the rainforest where you will discover some of&nbsp;the oldest, tallest and most distinctive flora. Several antique structures will give you an insight&nbsp;into the pioneer history of North Queensland. Plus, an orchard with more than 600 exotic fruit trees&nbsp;will remind you of nature&rsquo;s goodness and richness with tasting available when in season.

The&nbsp;chance to encounter a cassowary will make this the most unforgettable journey!&nbsp; The estate is privileged to be home to this elusive bird, and though there&#39;s no guarantee of cassowary sightings, there is an 80% chance to encounter one of these amazing looking animals in one of the rainforest tours.

Every tour is a small-group, with a maximum of 8 ATVs in each session, so you get an in-depth, personalised experience. Feel free to ask your friendly guide any questions you have throughout the journey &ndash; they&#39;ll be more than happy to answer them!

Finally, you can choose to take the Skyrail (additional cost) to reach the Barron Falls Station, where your tour guide will meet you. It&#39;s the perfect addition to a day a Kuranda day trip. Alternatively, you can make the drive to the destination on the Kennedy Highway, or request a free transfer from Kuranda Village.&nbsp;
